MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

It gives me immense pleasure, I, Er. Sonal Sood, welcome you to the Polytechnic Institute, where education is designed to inspire innovation, skill development, and professional growth.

Ms. Sonal Sood, currently serving as the principal, is an accomplished academician and researcher with over 18 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. She holds a B.Tech and M.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering and is presently pursuing her Ph.D. Her academic journey is enriched with more than 20 research publications, including over 10 Scopus-indexed papers, and the successful supervision of more than ten M.Tech scholars. Her areas of expertise include Wireless Communication, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning. She has also authored a book on IoT, coordinated the ISRO “START” Programme 2023, and contributed as a reviewer for the AICTE-sponsored ICLTET 2023 conference. Under her leadership, the institute offers a strong foundation through diploma programs in various engineering disciplines including Computer Science, Civil, Mechanical, Automobile, Electronics, and Electrical Engineering.We believe that true learning goes beyond theoretical knowledge. At our Polytechnic, we focus on experiential learning, practical exposure, and personality development through a balanced blend of academics and co-curricular activities. Our modern infrastructure and committed faculty ensure that students gain the competence and confidence required to meet industry demands and future challenges.
