One-Day Workshop On “How To Write A Research Paper” For Final-Year BCA Students On 15th September 2025 The Department of Computer Applications, University School of Computing, Rayat-Bahra University organized a one-day workshop on “How to Write a Research Paper” for final-year BCA students on 15th September 2025. The objective of the workshop was to enhance students’ understanding of academic research and to equip them with essential skills required for writing quality research papers. The session covered key aspects of research paper writing, including understanding the research process from topic selection to conducting an effective literature review, structuring a research paper using the standard IMRaD format (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion), and best practices related to citation styles, plagiarism prevention, and the effective use of reference management tools. The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who actively engaged with the resource persons and raised insightful questions. The Department expressed sincere gratitude to the Research Team of Rayat-Bahra University for conducting an informative and highly beneficial session that will greatly assist students in their academic and research pursuits.
