Gagan Gabba, a postgraduate student of Computer Applications, represented Rayat Bahra University at the All India University Championship (GNDIU) and won a gold medal in Taekwondo. He has also earned numerous accolades and will now be representing RBU at the Taekwondo Championship in Germany.

The two day Annual Sports Meet 2026 was successfully organised at Rayat Bahra University, Mohali, with students participating with immense enthusiasm and zeal.
Students participated actively and wholeheartedly in all these competitions, showcasing a magnificent display of their sporting talent, discipline, and team spirit.
The primary objective of this sports meet was to inspire students towards physical fitness, leadership, and a competitive spirit. All matches and events were organised successfully, and the players won everyone's heart with their excellent performances.

Rayat Bahra Group Tournament 2026, organized by Rayat Bahra Professional University Hoshiarpur, was successfully concluded on April 22–23, 2026.
The tournament featured events such as Volleyball, Football, Tug of War, and Chess, in which both boys' and girls' teams delivered spectacular performances. All the players set a shining example of sportsmanship and teamwork.
Rayat Bahra University Mohali clinched the Overall Trophy, earning the prestigious distinction of becoming the tournament's overall champion team.
