"Educational Social Responsibility Initiatives for Rural Empowerment" — jointly led by University School of Social Sciences and University School of Education, Rayat Bahra University.
An Extension Service Programme titled "Evening Classes Initiative" ran from 30th March to 3rd April 2026 in nearby villages. It aimed to promote basic education, literacy, and community awareness among underprivileged learners.
B.Ed. students actively engaged in teaching subjects such as mathematics, environmental studies, and general awareness, using interactive, activity-based methods. The initiative strengthened teaching competencies, social responsibility, and academia–community linkage in line with NAAC outreach and extension priorities.
Despite constraints like limited resources and varied learning levels, the programme was impactful in fostering inclusive education and deepening community partnerships.
