On 2nd April 2026, a Digital Literacy Awareness activity was organized at Chanalon Village, Punjab, by students of the University School of Education and Social Sciences. A total of 21 students actively participated in guiding and assisting villagers.
Through group discussions and live demonstrations, villagers learned smartphone operations, digital payments, and online services. Special focus was given to cyber safety and fraud prevention.
A significant achievement was an elderly man learning to use a smartphone independently. The activity successfully enhanced digital awareness and encouraged villagers to adopt modern technology in daily life.
