About the school

University School of Life Sciences came into existence in the year 2016 under University School of Sciences and was upgraded to University School of Life Sciences in the year 2025. The school aspires to be a foremost centre for learning nationally and internationally through the pursuit of academic excellence and admirable research in biological sciences.

It provides an optimum platform for students to realize their true potential and to sharpen their scientific skills. The school strives to build academic aptitude for leadership in knowledge propagation, especially in Research and Development. The highly qualified and experienced faculty nurtures the scientific and intellectual needs of students through practical and project-based learning.

It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the University School of Life Sciences, a vibrant hub of knowledge, innovation, and discovery.

At our School, you will learn through innovation and practical activities, enabling the development of both your hands-on experience and problem-solving skills. In addition to the experiential learning component through project-based activities in the classroom, we also support experiential learning via our Centre of Excellence (COE), where you will have the opportunity to work hands-on with state-of-the-art technology and current scientific methodologies.

The mission of the School of Life Sciences is to create an environment that supports research, innovation and entrepreneurship, allowing students to participate in entrepreneurial activities such as start-ups, industry projects, consulting and interdisciplinary partnerships.

The overall goal is for both faculty and students to make significant contributions to the world through advancing knowledge in both basic and applied scientific areas.
