TRAFFIC-TECH X-2025(Date: 20th March 2025) Under the esteemed guidance of our honorable Chancellor S. Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Dean of the University School of Engineering and Technology (USET), Prof. (Dr.) AnmolGoyal, and Head of the Electrical and Electronics & Communication Engineering (EECE) Department, Er. SonalSood, RayatBahra University (RBU), Mohali successfully organized a one-day Technical cum Road Safety Awareness Program, TRAFFICX-TECH, on March 20, 2025. The event, themed “Innovating Mobility: Driving the Future of Traffic Technology”, witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 500 university students from various departments at the university campus. The primary objective of the event was to foster technical knowledge and promote road safety awareness among students and young professionals. The program was graced by the presence of distinguished dignitaries, including Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Traffic Punjab, S. Amardeep Singh Rai, who attended as the Chief Guest, and Former Member of Parliament, Shri. Avinash Rai Khanna,who honored the occasion as the Guest of Honor. The esteemed Chancellor of RBU and Dean (Academics), Prof. S. K. Bansal, were also present among other respected guests on the dais. The event featured a diverse range of activities, including captivating technical project demonstrations by students, highlighting their technical prowess and innovative problem-solving skills. The program commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, followed by a video presentation showcasing various technical and academic activities recently conducted by the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department. Following the formal inauguration, the invited dignitaries delivered insightful addresses, emphasizing the importance of adhering to traffic rules and the critical role of responsible citizenship in ensuring road safety. The Chief Guest and Guest of Honor shared their valuable perspectives on the significance of technical education and community awareness, encouraging students to actively contribute to a safer and technologically advanced society.
