HAPPENINGS

Students of Rayat Bahra College of Nursing, Mohali, undertook an educational visit to the Government Rehabilitation Institute for Intellectual Disabilities (GRID), Sector 31, Chandigarh. The visit provided students with valuable exposure to the care, rehabilitation, education, and support services provided to individuals with intellectual disabilities. Students gained practical insights into multidisciplinary approaches to rehabilitation, special education, therapeutic interventions, and the role of healthcare professionals in supporting individuals with special needs. The visit enhanced their understanding of compassionate and inclusive care, rehabilitation practices, and community-based support, contributing significantly to their academic learning and professional development.
