As Project Director and Principal Advisor at DARE, DRDO, Dr. Kumar meticulously spearheaded and successfully concluded numerous multi-crore EW projects, bolstered by substantial funding from eminent entities such as the World Bank, DST, ICSSR, ICAR, and the Indo-German Science and Technology Centre (IGSTC).

An eminent academic luminary and proven administrator Dr. Sanjay Kumar has previously served as Vice-Chancellor of four other reputed universities, including Amity University, Symbiosis University, RV University, and ITM University.

Presently, he holds the prestigious position of Vice-Chancellor of Rayat Bahra University, Mohali, and also serves as Group Vice-Chancellor of the Rayat Bahra Group of Universities at Shimla and Hoshiarpur.
