Examination Process

At the core of Rayat-Bahra University's growing popularity is its industry-focused curriculum, preparing students to be employment-ready. The university emphasizes interdisciplinary and co-curricular learning.

Domain Skills, Soft Skills, Industry Interface, and Entrepreneurship Development with International Exposure are integral parts of the curriculum.

Important Aspects of the Examination Process

1. Registration

Candidates must register with the university before the semester begins. Students may attend classes only for the subjects they have registered for.

2. Mandatory Requirement of Attendance

A minimum of 75% attendance is required per course. Otherwise, students are disqualified from exams and must register again (RRA).

3. Conduct of Mid-Term Test

Two MTTs are conducted per semester. These are managed by schools according to the academic calendar and university norms.

4. Continuous Evaluation

Includes MTTs, tutorials, lab exercises, assignments, quizzes/tests, attendance, and more.

5. Conduct of End Term Exam

End term exams follow the academic calendar. COE oversees answer book evaluation by designated examiners.

6. Compilation and Declaration of Result

Grades are based on overall performance in all components. Appearing in both MTTs and End Term Exam is mandatory. No makeups allowed.

7. Minimum Academic Requirements

SGPA must be ≥ 4.5 for diploma/UG and ≥ 5.0 for PG (including M.Pharm, B.Pharm, D.Pharm).

8. Pass-Out Eligibility

A student is eligible for graduation if:

  • All prescribed program courses are cleared.
  • CGPA ≥ 5.0 (Diploma/UG) or CGPA ≥ 5.5 (PG).
  • Course is completed within the maximum duration.

Eligible students will receive a provisional degree/certificate.

9. Classification of Graduation Certificates

Based on CGPA, classification is as follows:

10. Conversion of CGPA to Percentage

Multiply CGPA by 10 to convert to percentage marks.

11. Convocation

Original certificates will be awarded during the convocation — held in July (for international students) and October (for others).
